A weekend-long Memorial Day celebration will take place at The Backyard, the mixed-use venue recently added to the Grand River Drive-in in Leeds, Alabama.

Organizers invite everyone out to celebrate in honor of citizens who have served their country, as well as those who are currently serving. An array of family-friendly and dog-friendly options are available to suit the taste of many.

 

Admission to the weekend-long Memorial Day celebration is FREE, with Neighbors Brewing Co. providing a $4 special daily, with North Alabama Trivia leading FREE trivia games on Friday, May 28, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.!

Friday, May 28th: 7-9pm
FREE Trivia with North Alabama Trivia.
 

Saturday, May 29th:

  • Red Mountain Crawfish, 11am – 5pm
  • Live Music w/ Marc Harris Duo, 4-7pm
  • Movie Showtimes begin at 8pm
  • $4 Neighbors Brewing Co. special all day!
 
Sunday, May 30th:
  • Red Mountain Crawfish, 11am – 5pm
  • Live Music w/ Common Ground, 2-5pm
  • $4 Neighbors Brewing Co. special all day!
Monday, May 31st:

 About The Backyard

A mixed-use entertainment complex, The Backyard officially held its grand opening in July 2019, more recently adding Neighbors Brews & Pies and Saw’s BBQ just this past April 2021.
 
Neighbors Pies offers up stone-fire pizza while Neighbors Brewing provides in-house, craft beer selections, a full bar, pool room, and arcade for inside enjoyment. For those desiring to venture outdoors, a patio complete with backyard games, a dog park, and mini-golf await.
