With daylight savings now upon us, as Gov. Kay Ivey awaits Congress to approve the Bill for Alabama to discontinue falling back, this will be a great time to get glowing with your friends, family, neighbors, or meet new people who shine on just like you.

Event organizers are expecting full participation from everyone, and are looking forward to one and all joining them in a stroll down Oak Grove to celebrate the season. Full, glowing action is the goal, so pull out your wagons, bicycles, scooters, strollers and decorate them to the max with glow sticks.

I feel a glow stick shortage coming on in Birmingham for a short time! After all, this call for glow stick mania should make everyone glow from head to toe! Get glasses, necklaces, get creative, and don’t leave out your furry friends.
