ShamROCK at Cahaba Brewing

Cahaba Brewing Company, located in the Historical Continental Gin Complex at 4500 5th Ave. South in Birmingham, Alabama officially opened for business in September 2012. Since then, they’ve grown enough to relocate to their current 51,000 square foot residence. This space combines the expanded brewery and a large venue for customers to enjoy all sorts of events from live music to trivia night to their annual Cahabaque fund-raiser.

What’s On Tap

With over 20 beer choices listed on their What’s On Tap page, customers can check in to see what’s brewing. Guests are always welcome in the Tasting Room. Core Beers, which include American Blonde, White IPA, Oka Uba IPA, Pale Ale, Liquidambar, Irish Stout, and Oktoberfest are available, but also be sure to check out seasonal brews made with the Pilot Batch System.

Current 2020 (as of January) offerings include the rich, malty “Alt Bier There For You,” the smoked porter “How’d You Get Fired On Your Day Off,” and the delightfully complex “Christypalooza.” These brews are limited in quantity, so don’t miss them! Tours of the brewing facility are also available.

Upcoming Events

Cahaba Brewing Company is known to sponsor several community events as well as fun, free things to do in their current location. Check back for more information on CahaBAZAAR, a FREE semi-annual collaboration of local artists and non-profits, featuring live music, special beer releases, and interactive art.

Their upcoming April event, CahabaQue, is a local barbecue cook-off fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama. Cahaba Brewing Company is also the official beer sponsor of the Sidewalk Film Festival. Check back for dates, times, and all event details.
