Schools may be closed but Scholastic is offering FREE day-by-day learning activities for kids of all ages! Scholastic, one of the top book publishers for children’s educational materials and literature, has an expert handle on educational activities with these colorful videos, games, and interactive lessons.

Each daily lesson includes four separate learning activities built around the same theme but crossing curriculum (math, reading, social studies, and science). These lessons can be done alone or with families/teachers.

Four levels of lessons

The lessons are divided by developmental ages into four groups:

• Pre-K and Kindergarten
• 1st and 2nd grade
• 3rd through 5th grades
• 6 grade and up

Access is easy!

In order to access to Pre-K/K and 1st/2nd grade sites, click on the level you are interested in and use the password provided. This will allow you to set up your FREE accounts through Scholastic’s Book Flix site and their Watch and Learn site.

Click on 3rd grade and up and the daily lessons are ready to go with no preregistration.

There are currently about five days of lessons available. Scholastic notes that you should stay tuned for fifteen more lessons coming up shortly.
