Cat ‘n Bird Winery is a micro, boutique winery that’s open to the public on Saturdays from noon until 6:00 pm. You can also rent the winery as an event venue any day of the week.
Owned by Matt and Robyn Lyons since 2017, this endeavor was the result of a wine-making hobby that turned a dream into a small business.

Matt and Robyn are wine-makers, but not vineyard growers. They source the fruit for their venture from out-of-state and even out of the country, which results in more choices for fans of their products. Paired with the perfect cheeses, wine-tasting opportunities help customers find their favorites.
The winery is located off Old Highway 280 in a farmhouse with delightful wide porches.
The couple and their family live in the main part of the house, while the downstairs serves as the brewery and serving area. This opens to a patio, which has been a mainstay during the social distancing mandates that started in March.
“We were happy to be able to provide people somewhere to visit with friends outside,” says Robyn. “We offered curbside service and created areas for friends to safely gather, such as around our firepit.” Inside seating is still currently at half capacity.

From game-watching to live music, there’s always something happening on Saturday afternoons at Cat ‘n Bird, typically from noon until 6:00 pm. (Check their Facebook page for dates and times of weekly events which are subject to change due to venue rentals.)
