We may be all in this together, but together we’re also facing unprecedented changes in our personal lives which can induce stress and emotional upheaval. In response to these new and frightening times, the Red Cross has stepped forward with a FREE online course.
The title of the course is ‘Mental Health First Aid for Covid-19 Online.’
Even if you’re holding up well, you may have a family member or co-worker who needs some help in these areas. Here’s the Red Cross’s statement about their newest online resource:
“The uncertainty associated with a global health crisis like COVID-19 challenges everyone’s ability to cope. This course will help you to build resilience and support yourself and others through this crisis by reviewing basic principles of providing psychological first aid, including how to recognize and manage stress in yourself and in others and how to lend support to family members, friends and coworkers during and following the COVID-19 outbreak.”
