New website is a go-to source for eating local and supporting Birmingham restaurants

You may have seen the new orange billboards around town for B’ham Nom Nom.

B’ham Nom Nom is a local website that grew out of Birmingham Restaurant Week and Birmingham Originals. Both organizations highlight the importance of supporting our local, independently-owned restaurants and emphasize our fantastic culinary scene. Other local sponsors are Birmingham Mountain Radio (107.3 FM), and Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

The website states, “Now, more than ever, by eating local, you’re supporting local. These restaurants and their staff are dependent on your patronage to get through this challenging time. And they’re still here ready to keep you fed.”

With this goal, B’ham Nom Nom has lists for local restaurants, their hours, and offerings. The number of restaurants on the site is continuing to grow.

You can order take-out or curbside, buy gift cards or merchandise, or even donate to your favorite restaurant through their GoFundMe or Venmo accounts which are listed.

Restaurants on the site are divided into geographic locations which include Birmingham, Homewood, Hoover, Leeds, Mountain Brook, and Vestavia Hills. Click on the tab to find who’s serving what in these areas.
