Drive-Thru Nativity at First Baptist of Gardendale

Looking for a way to experience the joy of the season without ever leaving the car? Head over to Gardendale’s First Baptist Church for a Live Nativity Drive-Thru!  Enjoy a full half-mile of the Christmas Story as acted out by a live cast, complete with animals.

 

Gardendale First Baptist Church is located at 316 Mountain Crest Parkway in Gardendale, AL. This event is scheduled for December 11-13 from 6:30-8:30.

To enjoy the drive-thru nativity, start at the South entrance heading towards the North Entrance Exit. Your vehicle will travel from Nazareth to Bethlehem with the cast of characters.

The Nativity will come into view at the foot of the cross, with Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, and live animals at the stable!

If your family would like to meet the animals after completing the Christmas Story event, everyone is invited to continue to the Petting Zoo Bus. To reach the bus, take a quick right turn rather than exiting out of the North Entrance after the Nativity Scene.

Masks and social distancing are required at the Petting Zoo. Hand sanitizer will be available.
