As HBCU rivals, Alabama State University (ASU) and Alabama A&M University (AAMU) prepare to go head-to-head during its regularly scheduled showdown this Saturday, October 30, 2021, right now would be a great time to stop everything you’re doing and read this article closely!
From now through October 29, and with no purchase necessary, the public may enter the $80,000 giveaway. In order to be eligible to win, entrants must be at least 19 years old, be a legal resident of the United States or District of Columbia, and only have one entry through one of the three ways below (see OFFICIAL RULES HERE).
- Onsite at Alabama Sports Council Office: This entry method will be available at the Alabama Sports Council, 100 Grandview Place, Suite 110, Birmingham, Alabama 35243 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday – Friday, from October 21s through October 29th. Entrants will need to provide their name, contact information, and eligibility information (see below) to be entered into the drawing.
- Reserved Ticket Holder: (automatically entered with no additional action required): Anyone with a reserved ticket will have their seat automatically entered into the drawing.
- General Admission Ticket Holder: General Admission ticket holders must enter Legion Field onsite on October 30 at the South End Zone Giveaway Window from 12:30 p.m. until the end of the 1st Quarter. Entrants will need to provide their name, contact information, and eligibility information (see below) to be entered into the drawing.

Football fans who attended the limited experience this past April are certainly excited and gearing up for a fun week of activities and reconnecting with old classmates. No doubt, Alabama State fans are seeking to make a comeback following Alabama A&M’s 38-14 win at the 79th annual event.
Event-goers can purchase discounted tickets for $20 from City G.E.A.R. locations around Birmingham, Huntsville, and Tuscaloosa leading up to the game.
