Ruffner Mountain is looking for volunteers to help maintain their Habitat Gardens. These gardens are located around the Nature Center, the parking lots, and around the Picnic Pavilion at Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve.
If you’re a person who enjoys working in a garden, including weeding, planting, and everything in between, joining the Habitat Garden Club could be a nice outdoor escape and also provide a needed service. Come help out with seasonal projects that promote the native plants and biodiversity they strive to display.
This volunteer group will meet every Tuesday morning from 9 AM to 12 PM and is perfect for individuals or groups of less than 10.
