With overwhelming hardship facing the Birmingham community this holiday season, the Immanuel Church is one of many organizations leading the way to answer the crisis. On Saturday, December 4, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., join the Immanuel Church family at Crestwood Park for cookies, snow, hot chocolate, music, and did I say SNOW?
STOP. FULL STOP. You had me at “snow!”
Gather your friends and family, have everyone bring an unwrapped toy, and then you all mosey on down to Christmas in the Park. This is a great way to usher in a season of selfless giving that will benefit deserving youths in the community who are dreaming of a happy, snow-white Christmas!
With an appealing list of upcoming community events planned, Immanuel Church is striving to achieve an ever-evolving goal within its community, which includes increasing the percentage of multi-ethnic churches that serve around the country and diversifying its own demographic.
In itself, Immanuel desires to represent diverse ethnicities within all aspects of its ministry who are multigenerational and welcoming of everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic status. For anyone looking to be connected to something bigger than themselves, it sounds as if Immanuel Church is welcoming all with open arms.
Christmas in the Park will be a great way to meet the leaders and members of the organization and be a part of an amazing outreach event that puts the community’s needs first.
