Stating that their main goal is to make debate a more accessible activity for the community, the group’s mission statement reads, “Tempus Debate is dedicated to serving Alabama’s local debaters. Through our free services, dedicated staff, and accessible resources, we hope to help debaters unlock opportunities and reach their full potential.”

Taught by a team of some of Alabama’s most prominent and award-winning teen debaters, this initiative will help students develop confidence and communication abilities that will carry them far and help them succeed in high school and college.

Now, you can sign up for a FREE one-week debate summer camp. Using Google Meets and Google Classroom, this is a virtual experience that will fill up fast. You can register HERE.

Offered online from Monday, August 3rd to Friday, August 7th, this is a fantastic way for rising 7th graders through high school seniors to get experience with public speaking skills, not to mention critical thinking and writing skills.
