Monday, June 15 is the eighteenth birthday of Rojo, a casual neighborhood restaurant on Highland Avenue which features both Latin and American cuisine. Rojo is a neighborhood favorite of the Highland Park area and continues to serve up great eats and beverages even though hanging-out and dining-in is currently on hold.
Watch the cake-cutting live on Instagram at approximately 11:00 AM (no candles). Then, swing by and grab a FREE piece of cake to-go for Rojo’s eighteenth birthday. Cake is being served all day on Monday, June 15 until it runs out!

Although the plan to open the patio may be delayed due to safety concerns for guests and employees, Rojo is continuing to offer curbside pick-up and delivery. Delivery is available through The Takeout Bham and GrubHub.
Check out their menu items HERE which include Latin Dishes, American Fare, a Kid’s Menu, and Beer/Wine/Liquor Mixes to-go. Brunch is not currently being offered.
Rojo announces a new online ordering option that will soon be added to the website. Phone orders will continue as usual. Orders can also be taken at the take-out window but online/phone-in orders are preferred due to social distancing needs.
Rojo is also continuing to partner with Independent Presbyterian Church to offer free meals for anyone who is in need of food. These customers can call in and order an “IPC” meal off the special menu. If you’d like to make a donation towards the IPC meal fund, each meal costs $7.00.
