Sometimes, you just want to hang out on the lawn and watch a good movie, and bond with the family. And tonight is a great night to do so!

 

Family Night is in full swing at the Gardendale Civic Center, with a food truck, games, costume contest, and FREE viewing of Hocus Pocus!

Bring a blanket or a chair, come and enjoy games and a costume contest, and then settle down to watch the amazing Bette Midler, the incredible Sarah Jessica Parker, and the funny Kathy Najimy, who create awesome chemistry as the hilarious sisters seeking young blood to extend their witchy lives.  

With the catchy and jamming tune, “I Put A Spell On You,” sang by the trio of witches, who each have amazing pipes, you and the family will be tapping and dancing on the lawn along with the film. Don’t miss it!

 

EVENT SCHEDULE

• 5:00 p.m. – Food Truck (Smoke on Wheels) begin serving
• 5:00-7:00 p.m. – Lawn Games
• 6:30 p.m. – Costume Contest
• 7:00 p.m. – Hocus Pocus movie starts

The mission of the Gardendale Arts council is to provide opportunities to perform/view live theater, concerts, etc to the citizens of Gardendale and its surrounding communities at an affordable cost. We strive to provide quality family entertainment and encourage participation in live theater productions.

The Gardendale Civic Center provides space for a wide spectrum of events, including corporate functions, parties, and receptions in any of the six meeting rooms, two suites, or in the 6,000-square-foot Exhibition Hall.
