The Helena Old Town Board’s (HOTBoard) Old Town LIVE summer concert series returns with a vast offering of fun activities for families, for FREE, this Saturday, July 17, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Helena Amphitheater. The live concert will present at 11:30 a.m.
Presenting selections from The Beatles catalogue, Rock and Roll Playhouse focuses on programming for childrens ages 10 and under. From games and movement activities, to stories, and a chance to jam and explore their own talents, kids are educated about rock and roll.
Following the concert series, kids can enjoy playing in the free “Kids Zone, complete with bounce houses, slides, the Helena Hollow “train’ ride, games, activities and a live DJ mixing kid-friendly tunes for the audience.
A wealth of enjoyment is waiting at The Rock and Roll Playhouse. Don’t miss it!

FREE LIVE ONLINE ENRICHMENT CLASSES WITH VARSITY TUTORS

From Fundamentals of Finance for Teens and Phonics with Music Class for K-1 students, to Fun-damentals of Fractions, Multiplication & Division for 2-4 grade students, Varsity Tutors has something for everyone.
Your child can choose from a plethora of support classes in Math and Reading, such as the Pre-Reading Super Skills class, learn how to draw their favorite Japanese-style art in the Kawaii Drawing Anime & Manga class, stay healthy – physically, mentally, and emotionally – in the Wellness & Happiness class, or challenge their brain in the Brain Games class.

GIRLS ON THE GLOW EMPOWERMENT CAMP FOR GIRLS

This one is pretty special for me! Mother and daughter duo, Ms. Vanessa and Jasha Whitley, launched their non-profit, Girls On the Glow, in 2017.
In just a short time, their passion to create a special place for young girls ages 6-16 to shine has taken off exponentially! At their FREE and newly-formed 2021 Girls On the Glow Summer Empowerment Camp, Vanessa and Jasha are bringing young princesses to the Woodlawn community.
Funded by their personal capital and the donations of close friends and parents, Girls On the Glow will provide enrichment, arts, and lunch at no charge to girls every 3rd Saturday beginning July 17, 2021, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
A host of dedicated youths, both male and female of varying ages, volunteer to set up and break down to support the community.
