Many people in the Birmingham area have lost jobs in recent weeks, either permanently or temporarily. If you’re worried about how to make ends meet, it’s helpful to know that some companies are still hiring all over the country and here in Alabama, too.
Demand for workers at grocery stores, drugstores, delivery services, hardware stores and some restaurants that deliver has grown. In some cases, the jobs will be permanent, and in other cases, they are temporary. If you need a way to put food on the table, a temporary job may be a good move for now.

Here are over 20 companies with jobs listed. Some are using a virtual, online recruiting process, and others will be happy to talk to you if you appear at their stores (though a phone call first would probably be good).
The number of jobs listed for our area was generated on March 31, 2020, and will change rapidly. Hurry and check them out!
