Cookie Walk

The City of Trussville’s Chamber of Commerce has literally lined up some great Christmas fun with their 2020 Christmas Parade! This is a FREE event that’s scheduled for December 12th at 3:00 PM.

Scheduled to pass through historic downtown Trussville, the parade will start on Parkway Drive. Follow the map below as it turns right on Gadsden Highway, then takes another right on Chalkville Mountain Road. The parade route ends at Trussville’s beloved historic Mall. 

2020’s Parade theme and prize categories:

The theme of this year’s parade is “Christmas Traditions.” Participants in the parade are asked to be creative in their interpretation of this theme in hopes of winning a prize in one of the four categories (plus a category for walking groups.)

3. Best Interpretation of Theme
4. Best Overall
5. Best Walking Group

Downtown’s Cookie Walk

Hurry if you want to purchase a ticket to take part in downtown Trussville’s Cookie Walk, sponsored by Trussville’s Downtown Merchants. Only seventy-five tickets are to be sold. 

Ticket-holders will be able to travel from store to store and receive cookies from local merchants. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased beginning Dec. 1 at Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce, Carroll Pharmacy, DeDe’s Book Rack, EW Motion and Trussville Antiques.

The Cookie Walk starts at 10:00 AM and runs until 2:00 PM, just prior to the start of the parade.
