Birmingham radio host, Lady Woo Woodruff of V94.9 FM WATV, will host tonight’s FREE Music in the Parks event at Memorial Park. Presented by Safe Summer Series in partnership with Councilor Crystal N. Smitherman, tonight’s closing event starts at 5:00 p.m. and will wrap the summer season.
What’s even more exciting is that the Safe Summer Series will be going out with a bang, featuring the incomparable singer/songwriter KeKe Wyatt!

First on deck will be the angelic vocals of Birmingham’s up-and-coming songstress, Halo, who has been setting the entertainment scene on fire. The sultry Sherri Brown will grace the stage and further pave the way for the incomparable KeKe Wyatt to bring the evening on home!
Be sure to pack your lawn chairs and blankets, and arrive early to get a great spot on the lawn at Memorial park. Don’t worry about overwhelming yourself with packing snacks and beverages – Birmingham food trucks will be out and lined up, scintillating the evening atmosphere, prepping your taste buds for mouthwatering treats!
