Alabama Bridal & Wedding Expo

Explore ways to make your dream wedding a reality as vendors from all over exhibit their products and services to make your wedding one that will be remembered for years to come! FREE passes are always given out, so be sure to register online in advance, or you will have to pay $10 at the door to be admitted.

Annual Do Dah Day Parade

This all-volunteer fundraising event benefits homeless animals in the Birmingham and Jefferson County areas and has raised over $1.5 million since 1992. NOTE: This event was held at Cahaba Brewing Co. in 2021 due to the pandemic. Be sure to check the website prior to attending. The 2021 event was also ticketed at $5 per person. Tickets were $5 in advance of event day, and $8 at the door, so be sure to check the website in advance to get a $3 savings.

Magic City Classic presented by McDonald’s

Witness two of Alabama’s HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities), Alabama State University, and Alabama A&M, go head-to-head on the football field. The McDonald’s Magic City Classic is essentially a holiday in Birmingham, providing a full week of activities as celebrities and alumni from all over the world travel to tailgate and celebrate together.
