St. Patrick’s Day Parade

It’s time for the 38th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in Birmingham! On Saturday, March 19 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM.

The procession for the 38th Annual St. Patrick’s Parade will start at Southern Research on 9th Avenue South, make its way through Five Points South and end at 13th Avenue South. Click here for the map.

The St. Patrick’s Day festivities will be happening all day in Five Points South, one of Birmingham’s 9Entertainment District. Events will start on March 18th at 11:00 AM and run until 11:00 PM. Live music will be performed all day long.

11:00 AM to 1:30 PM –  ‘Hooley’ performs traditional Irish music at Iron City Pizza Co.

11:00 AM to 1:30 PM – The Yellow Dandies at Dave’s Pub

11:00 AM to 3:00 PM – DJ Matrix at The Hive

11:00 AM to 3:00 PM – Marshall Mikesell at 5 Point Public House & Oyster Bar

1:30 PM to 2:30 PM – 38th Annual St.Patrick’s Day Parade

2:45 PM to 6:00 PM – Hooley at Dave’s Pub

3:00 PM to 5:00 PM – Jerome Walls at Black Market Bar & Grill

3:00 PM to 6:00 PM – Love Rat at Little Italy Pizza & Pints

5:00 PM to 7:00 PM – Matt Broach & Whitney Cox at Black Market Bar & Grill

7:00 PM to 10:00 PM – The Stepdads at Little Italy & Pints

8:00 PM to 11:00 PM – Poseidon – Toby Harrison at Black Market Bar & Grill

8:00 PM to 11:00 PM – Edmonds Butler Band at Dave’s Pub

11:00 AM to 1:00 PM- Kid’s activities in the Lucky Zone at Chick-Fil-A with a bouncy house, face painting, miniature horses, and more!

As one of Birmingham’s newest Entertainment Districts, Five Points South is ideal for a street party! Under Alabama state law, businesses that are within the boundaries of the district and who hold liquor licenses will now be permitted to provide disposable cups allowing customers to carry the alcoholic beverages they’ve purchased outside of the business. Drink your green beer and watch the parade!
