This weekend, Eat in the Streets continues in downtown Birmingham. Areas that will be closed to traffic and open for dining and entertainment are between the 100 and 200 blocks of 20th Street North.
The street will be set up as an outdoor venue through Saturday, August 22 at 11:00 PM. Entertainment plans include live music and an outdoor movie.
Participating Venues:
- The Yard and Moon Shine from the Elyton Hotel
- Paramount
- Café Dupont
- Chocolatà Artisanal Chocolatier
- Trattoria Zaza
- Bistro 218
Alcohol beverages will be available, but diners will be unable to carry open containers throughout the area as this street is not a designated entertainment district. The sale of alcohol must end at 11:00 PM due to an order from the Alabama ABC Board to limit sales in order to cut back on group gatherings.
With Jefferson County’s mask ordinance in effect, everyone who enters the area must wear a mask except when they are eating or drinking. Carryout orders are also available.
