Since 1946, Alabama Audubon, the state’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing the public’s knowledge about birds, has been dedicated to promoting conservation and bird knowledge. Become a better birder with Alabama Audubon’s FREE bird-watching courses!
These classes are offered through Zoom and pre-registration is required. Space is limited to 100 participants so hurry and sign up. Previous courses have filled to capacity quickly. (Classes offered on June 18 and June 19 are already full.) Don’t miss out!

The next available course is on June 22 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. If you’re a newbie, this is a great spot to grab. The course is titled, “Birdwatching for Beginners.”
You’ll learn everything from how to feed the birds in your backyard to identifying common birds and bird families throughout Alabama.
