Ner-A-Cars were motorcycles that were first designed after WWI by Carl Neracher and had similar mechanical aspects to a car. The name, Ner-A-Car, was a play on words meaning “nearly a car” which also utilized part of the designer’s name. Ner-A-Cars were only produced from 1921-1927 but were very popular during that time.
