Now, more than ever, finding activities to do in the fresh air and away from crowds is the way to go. Pick-your-own farms offer social distancing in the sunshine plus they’re an educational and entertaining option for families with bored kids.

Be sure and call ahead or check their websites/Facebook pages for when U-pick days are happening. Dates and times change rapidly according to weather conditions, how much product is available, and social distancing precautions.
Several postings have mentioned that the cooler days have caused the berries to ripen more slowly. The trend this year seems to be that U-Pick options will be closed several times a week to allow berries to further ripen.
