5. STARBUCKS SERVING UP FREE BREW & DONATING FOR EVERY CUP OF HOT BREW SOLD 

Spread the brews! Starbucks is honoring the men and women of the military in two ways on November 11. First, Starbucks will give a FREE, tall (12 oz) hot brewed coffee for veterans, military service members, and military spouses at participating U.S. stores. Secondly, for every cup of hot brewed coffee sold nationwide on November 11, Starbucks will donate 25 cents to military nonprofits Team Red, White & Blue and Headstrong!

In case you’re curious as I was, Starbucks reportedly sold approximately 8,070,428 cups of coffee according to blogger, Leo Qin. At 25 cents per hot coffee sold, that works out to be $2,017,607 Starbucks could potentially donate to military non-profits! POTENTIALLY. The site doesn’t have a clear breakout of how many of these cups sold are all hot brews.

6. RED LOBSTER SERVING UP A CHOICE OF A FREE APPETIZER OR DESSERT FOR VETERANS DAY
