Get Motivated to Tidy Your Home & A Tip from Evelyn Walwyn
Many times, we are stuck between an unmade bed and a hard case…of laziness, that is.
Let’s face it. Housework is just not at the top of most of our to-do lists. Many of us stare at the clutter as if we can Mary Poppins our way out of cleanup Saturday.
Is that working out for you as it is for me?
My remaining clutter was talking to me, until my good friend, Evelyn Walwyn, called me out.
Stop talking to your clothes – they’re not coming back.
I couldn’t do anything but feel the sting of truth. Amazingly so, it was very cathartic. Evelyn couldn’t agree more.
Get rid of them. I used to talk to my clothes all the time. I’d say, ‘I’ll be wearing you again, just wait!’ I never did, so they went to the trash. It’s the truth. get that mess out of your house. Why are you holding onto those things?
Evelyn, who is insanely talented and creative, is featured in a coming story we have here at Birmingham On The Cheap.
I am so appreciative of Evelyn’s tidy tips to prepare for Spring. This is surely a great way to spend a stormy weekend in case an event gets rained out!
